Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Canning Line Machinery: Learn to effectively startup, runout, and troubleshoot canning line equipment, including depalletizer, palletizer, stretch wrappers, and conveyor belts.
  • Manage Inventory: Put away inventory into various racking systems, floor stack products and materials, and pick and prepare inventory for orders.
  • Load and Unload Trucks: Load and unload trucks using a forklift, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Contribute to Shipping and Receiving: Accurately document shipping, receiving, and production activities using spreadsheets and Microsoft Teams.
  • Maintain Warehouse Cleanliness: Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized, adhering to best practices.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement: Remain curious and proactive in identifying opportunities to improve procedures, quality, safety, and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Comfortable Working in a Manufacturing Environment: Able to work in an ambient manufacturing environment, including noise, variable temperatures, and exposure to wet conditions.
  • Lifting and Mobility: Capable of lifting up to 67 lbs and able to be on feet for extended periods of time.
  • Microsoft 365 Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft 365, including Teams and Outlook.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and situations.
  • Attention to Detail and Organization: High attention to detail and organization skills, with ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Effective Communication and Time Management: Excellent communication and time management skills, with ability to work well in a team environment.
