Job Overview

Estimated Salary: $94-102K per year

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations of assigned unit to ensure quality service and adherence to current nursing standards, FutureCare policies, and State and Federal regulations.
  • Oversee day-to-day care and maintain restorative health for our residents.
  • Develop and implement resident care plans as needed.
  • Evaluate, prioritize, and meet the care needs of each resident.
  • Supervise, counsel, and manage performance when necessary, to nurse staff to ensure the highest quality care possible.
  • Collaborate with Director of Nursing and Physicians to plan and maintain resident care.
  • Identify procedural problems and work with the Director of Nursing to resolve issues.
  • Supervise and direct all clinical aspects of nursing practice and engage in all clinical activities.
  • Act as a main point of contact between residents and their families and address and prevent concerns that may arise.
  • Perform audits and complete charting, evaluations, medical forms, and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications
  • Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university strongly preferred.
  • 1- 3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills a plus.
  • Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility.
  • Must possess a current CPR license.
