Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate residents' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to develop personalized occupational therapy plans.
  • Design and implement effective treatment programs to enhance residents' functional abilities and promote independence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.
  • Document residents' progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers to promote understanding and support of occupational therapy services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
