About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cafe Associate to join our team at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in Hanover, PA. As a Cafe Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food products are prepared and served to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve a variety of food products, including hot and cold items, to meet the needs of our members.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain a clean and sanitized environment, adhere to food safety standards, and ensure that all food products are fresh and of high quality.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to member inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve business objectives, share knowledge and best practices, and support each other in achieving individual and team goals.
Requirements
  • Food Service Experience: 1+ year of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
  • Food Safety Certification: Possess a valid food safety certification, such as Food Handler Certification.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with members, team members, and management.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges.
