Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Welcome and greet guests, make them feel comfortable, and ensure they have a positive experience.
  • Order Taking and Delivery: Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into the point-of-sale system, and deliver food and beverages promptly.
  • Payment and Settlement: Prepare the final bill, present it to the guest, accept payment, and process credit card charges or make change.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Respond promptly and courteously to requests, communicate guest feedback to management, and be ready to assist fellow servers.
  • Physical Demands: Constant standing, walking, and working in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous restaurant experience is optional but preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and operate a computer point-of-sale system.
  • Certifications: Food Handler Certification and TABC Certification are required.
  • Physical Abilities: Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits, and be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
