Position Overview
  • Two supervisory references are required (Charge nurses will count as one reference).
  • Pediatric experience is mandatory.
  • First-time travelers are welcome.
  • No on-call duties are necessary.
  • Weekend shifts may be required (one weekend shift per contract).
  • Timely start is essential to secure the higher billing rate.
  • Patient demographic includes inpatient and outpatient neonates to 26 years of age.
  • Special procedures include Neuro, Body, MSK, Angio, Spect., and both sedated and non-sedated cases.
  • Equipment utilized includes GE and Siemens 1.5T and 3T scanners, Bayer Injectors, EPIC, Invivo Monitoring, and GE PACS.
Job Specifications
  • Two professional references from managers or supervisors are required. Charge RN is acceptable for one reference.
  • Peer references are not valid.
  • Unit-specific skills checklist must be updated annually.
Schedule Information
  • Weekend shifts may be required (one weekend shift per contract).
Additional Information
  • I-9 documentation is required for direct placements.
  • Attestation is required for SUBS.
  • A current government-issued photo ID must be provided within 24-48 hours of contract signing. Temporary driver's license is acceptable to start, but a permanent driver's license must be on file once available.
  • The traveler's legal name must match their RN or allied license & certifications (no nicknames).
  • If undergoing a name change, proof of the name change is required for approval.
  • Legal name must be reflected in NOVA/Connect.
  • Internal requirements apply as necessary.
