Position Overview:
The Salesforce Solutions Architect (SSA) will play a key role in designing and overseeing the implementation of integrated technology solutions aligned with the organization's long-term objectives. The SSA will collaborate with various stakeholders and subject matter experts, with a primary focus on the Local Public Health (LPH) project. The SSA will be responsible for supporting enterprise-wide initiatives with a focus on infrastructure, security, and application architecture. The SSA will design Salesforce architecture solutions that span business processes, hardware, applications, networking, and platforms. The SSA will develop technical frameworks and components to address enterprise-wide needs. The SSA will lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions using Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, and Service Cloud, ensuring alignment with best practices. The SSA will provide technical leadership in Salesforce architecture. The SSA will work with the Enterprise Applications Support team to optimize Salesforce solutions across legacy platforms and new developments, including reviewing custom code and integrations. The SSA will integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools. The SSA will collaborate with enterprise architects and middleware engineers to define scalable, cost-effective solutions. The SSA will document functional and non-functional requirements, technical architecture, and design specifications for infrastructure focusing on standards, scalability, security, and performance. The SSA will build cost-effective infrastructure solutions on the Salesforce platform. The SSA will present findings and recommendations effectively to business and technical leadership. The SSA will consult with various teams to maintain architecture designs aligned with business strategy. The SSA will conduct vendor code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers. The SSA will review technical designs and provide recommendations for feature additions and improvements. The SSA will monitor Salesforce health, performance, and governance, providing reports and recommendations. The SSA will map functional requirements to Salesforce features and provide governance for platform adoption and lifecycle processes. The SSA will perform other duties or special projects as needed. The SSA will lead risk assessments and remediation planning. The SSA will evaluate and recommend Salesforce AppExchange products and technologies. The SSA will provide biweekly readouts on findings and recommendations. The SSA will review and recommend improvements to the SDLC process. The SSA will work with Agile methodologies, Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines. The SSA will utilize Salesforce APIs, including SOAP, REST, and BULK APIs. The SSA will guide and mentor team members on Salesforce best practices.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Salesforce certification preferred. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members. Experience with Agile methodologies, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce APIs.
