Diagnostic Radiology Technologist

At Bronson Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist radiologists during special procedure studies, including angiograms and vena cavagrams.
  • Operate highly sophisticated electronic equipment during exams, observing patient vital signs and other pertinent data.
  • Administer or assist in the administration of contrast media under the direction of the radiologist.
  • Perform first aid as required and assist in cases of adverse reaction to contrast media or in other emergencies.
  • Maintain cleanliness of procedure rooms and equipment, and ensure accurate documentation of patient and file information.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered ARRT (R) upon hire, with ARRT CT certification within 15 months from hire date.
  • Excellent human relation skills, with the ability to deal with patients, physicians, and other staff in sometimes difficult or sensitive situations.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to work independently and take initiative within established procedures.
