Job Overview:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) delivers essential patient-centered care within a clinical environment, working under the daily supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role adheres to established practice standards and complies with relevant state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate and respectful care to patients and their families, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.
2. Execute delegated tasks in the patient care setting, contributing to a supportive environment.
3. Maintain effective communication with team members and patients, demonstrating excellent organizational skills.
4. Assist with patient mobility and personal care, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED/HSED).
- Active CNA certification in good standing as per state registry.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 45 days of hire.
- No prior experience necessary; however, basic computer skills are essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 35 pounds independently and utilizing patient handling equipment when necessary.

Work Environment:

Exposure to various hazards including mechanical, electrical, chemical, and biological materials. Protective clothing must be worn as needed.
