Process Optimization Engineer

The Process Development Engineer will be responsible for researching, designing, and implementing new processes and technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Design and implement new tools and equipment to support process improvements
- Conduct training and provide guidance to manufacturing staff on new processes and procedures
- Monitor and analyze process performance data to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or closely related field, plus 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Working knowledge of project management, new product introduction, demand flow, lean manufacturing, quality control, and ergonomics methodologies and applications
