Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse in the Brain Injury Unit

Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital is a 115-bed acute hospital specializing in physical rehabilitation. Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to providing exceptional care to our patients, and we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Brain Injury Unit.

As a Registered Nurse in our Brain Injury Unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients who have suffered from traumatic injuries or disabling illnesses. You will be responsible for providing individualized care to each patient, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that promote physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients in adapting to an altered lifestyle, while providing a therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
  • Design and implement treatment strategies that are based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care and that promote physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health.
  • Perform complex patient assessments and implement intensive interventions.
Requirements:
  • New York State RN License.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing. BSN Preferred.
  • 1 Yr RN experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion to learn, grow, and develop in the nursing field.
