Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the PCU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' needs and develop comprehensive care plans to address their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including ordering diagnostic tests and consulting with specialists as needed.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on disease management, medication use, and other health-related topics.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Experience working in a PCU or ICU setting, with a focus on critical care nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
