Job Summary

We are seeking an Auditory Assessment Specialist to join our team in the Southeastern region. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for conducting medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

Your primary focus will be on reviewing and assessing patients' medical records, conducting Maryland CNC Tests and Puretone Audiometric tests, and completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) in our computer portal. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of veterans while working in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

This is an IN-PERSON position with a regular schedule of 3 days per week, offering flexible hours between 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes per patient. You will not be required to work evenings, weekends, or be on call. The ideal candidate will have:

  • An Au.D. degree from an ASHA-accredited school
  • A current license as an Audiologist
  • Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
