Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the industrial engineering team to develop and implement maintenance schedules for new equipment.
  • Maintain accurate logs of completed maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate with third-party service providers for contract maintenance jobs.
  • Participate in the company's 5S facility program and adhere to ISO standards.
  • Ensure all necessary hand tools and power tools are properly maintained and organized.
  • Work closely with production teams to identify equipment performance issues and implement solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production environment, promoting a professional atmosphere.
  • Support the facilities manager with communication and feedback on facility-related matters.
  • Participate in production meetings to ensure maintenance schedules align with company goals.
  • Attend intra-department meetings to discuss scheduling, production, and quality issues.
  • Take ownership of team goals and results, promoting them to the team and reporting progress to management.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance functions in an industrial production environment.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of scheduling, planning, and prioritizing techniques in a production environment.
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools, as well as safety requirements associated with each.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and local facility regulations.
  • Knowledge of PPE requirements.
  • Knowledge of equipment operation, such as scissor lifts and forklifts.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Safety practices in an industrial environment.
