  • Adjust MRI scanning parameters as necessary to achieve optimal results.
  • Foster positive relationships with radiologists, referring professionals, and colleagues.
  • Adhere strictly to physicians' directives and safety protocols to safeguard yourself, patients, and coworkers.

  • Uphold ACR toolkit and accreditation standards.
  • Keep equipment in optimal condition; clean and disinfect after each use.
  • Comply with all HIPAA regulations.
MRI Department Support (5%):
  • Assist in maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software updates.
  • Monitor and manage medical supply inventory, requesting replenishments as needed.
  • Support the training of new staff by providing resources and technical knowledge.
Additional Duties (5%):
  • Complete other assigned tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate from an American Medical Association (AMA) accredited radiography program.
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the relevant state, if applicable.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Demonstrated training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
  • Certification in imaging specialty.
Preferred:
