About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Oral Surgeon to join our team at New York Family Dentistry. As a part-time Oral Surgeon, you will have the opportunity to leverage your clinical expertise and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional oral health care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures, including tooth extractions, dental implants, jaw surgeries, and oral pathology management.
  • Administer anesthesia and sedation for surgical procedures.
  • Stay updated on advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery techniques and technologies through continuing education and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program.
  • Active state dental license, with specific licensure required for the state where the practice is located.
  • Board certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) or equivalent certification body.
