We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Oncology Care Unit at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As an Oncology Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to our patients with cancer.
Key Responsibilities- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for a wide variety of surgical oncology cases
- Assess, monitor, record, report, and follow through on symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and modify the plan of care
- Work closely with oncology-certified nurses and cancer experts to create and implement a care plan to meet each patient's needs
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Certification
- Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification preferred (required after 1 year of employment)
