Executive Chef

Our Executive Chef provides culinary leadership for all operations of the kitchen at Riverwoods, Illinois, United States. This role requires a strong passion for excellence and delivering high-quality food, creating new recipes, and offering attentive service to members and guests while directing the kitchen staff.

• Lead, train, develop, and inspire the culinary team.
• Elevate the culinary experience by focusing on food quality and upholding presentation standards.
• Create edgy and innovative new menu items based on current food trends and club events.
• Manage financial cost controls and culinary operations.
• Build magic moments and maintain positive member & guest experiences.

• Minimum 3 years' experience at Executive Chef level in a Golf Club / Resort / Hotel / Restaurant.
• Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
• Food & Safety certifications.
• Knowledge of special diets (preferred).
• Proficient with POS (Micros preferred), Microsoft Office products, and social media.
• Experience with private events, banquets, and a la carte.
• Bilingual- Spanish (preferred).
