Penske Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

Job Summary:

Penske is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule vehicle maintenance repairs, including preventative, mechanical, and electrical repairs.
  • Manage a team of diesel technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize vehicle availability.
  • Monitor and control repair, inventory, and labor costs to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in fleet maintenance management or team management in an environment with strong operational metrics.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Tech School degree preferred.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to use hands to grasp, reach, touch, handle, feel, and/or operate required tools or controls.
  • Ability to work safely at heights using applicable ladders and elevated working platforms.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Pay and Benefits:

$67,000-$88,800 annually, plus excellent benefits package.
