Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at ViaQuest Residential Services. As a DSP, you will provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes. Our goal is to foster increased independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring the health and safety needs of our clients are met.

About the Role:

As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This includes supervising, teaching, and assisting individuals in all aspects of their lives, completing household tasks, and providing personal care assistance. You will also be required to maintain a clean and safe living environment and transport individuals served using your personal vehicle.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18 years old, and have a valid OH driver's license and car insurance. You will also need to be able to push, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs, and climb, balance, kneel, and crouch. Additionally, you will need to have a personal, reliable vehicle that you are willing and able to use to transport individuals served.
