We are in search of a professional and courteous Event Service Attendant who will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a memorable experience during special events and functions. This position involves assisting with event logistics, preparation, and clean-up, as well as serving guests and addressing their inquiries and requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests upon arrival and assist them in locating their seating.
  • Circulate the venue with trays of food and beverages.
  • Guide guests to essential services and amenities, and provide tours of the facility.
  • Support event setup and breakdown, including arranging tables, linens, and buffet stations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Comply with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a serving role.
  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous.
  • Basic math skills and cash handling experience.
  • Polite and attentive demeanor towards guests.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods, climbing stairs, and lifting heavy items.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities.
  • Team-oriented with the capacity to follow directions.
  • Relevant licenses or certifications as required by health and/or alcohol regulations.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
