STEM Teacher

Diocese of St. Augustine is seeking a qualified Teacher - STEM/Technology to join our team at St. Matthew Catholic School. As a member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and helping them grow into compassionate and responsible individuals.

Under the direction of the school principal, the Teacher - STEM/Technology will be responsible for supporting the Diocese of St. Augustine in its mission to educate, evangelize, and catechize youth in a Catholic school environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to upholding the values of the Catholic faith.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's academic goals and objectives.
• Integrate Catholic religious curriculum into the STEM/Technology program.
• Build and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful school year.

• Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church and registered member of a Catholic parish faith community.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Must maintain Professional Educator certification in the State of Florida.
• Ability to respect, promote, accommodate, and not be in conflict with the mission, moral and social teachings, doctrines and laws of the Roman Catholic faith.

• Experience working in a Catholic school environment.
• Strong knowledge of STEM/Technology curriculum and pedagogy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

The Teacher - STEM/Technology will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges.
