Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Nunn's Home Medical Equipment is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Central, NY. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our customers by dispensing respiratory equipment, including oxygen, sleep therapy units, and non-invasive vents, in a professional and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Dispense respiratory equipment, including oxygen, sleep therapy units, and non-invasive vents, in the office setting.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of all home respiratory equipment and learn about Medicare regulations and other insurance guidelines and regulations.
  • Implement changes in treatment prescribed by patients' physicians and troubleshoot with patients and caregivers who are experiencing problems.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other team members.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed chart notes and patient information.
Requirements:
  • Registered or Registry eligible Respiratory Therapist (CRTT or RRT) or Registered Nurse.
  • Licensed in NY State.
  • Highly efficient computer skills and proficient verbal skills.
  • A high degree of skill in human relations and ability to deal constructively with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other hospital personnel.
