Experienced Painter and Carpenter

Gregor Industries Inc. is a General Contractor specializing in commercial construction. We are seeking skilled and experienced Painters, Carpenters, and Laborers to work on various projects in New York and New Jersey.

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks or holes.
• Select and mix paints to match colors and achieve desired finishes.
• Apply paints, varnishes, and coating using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Follow safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment during all tasks.
• Collaborate with construction professionals to coordinate painting schedules.
• Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment.
• Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner, including loading, transporting, and delivering material to job sites.
• Maintain company material handling equipment in safe and good working conditions.
• Record the material amount or count received and circulated.
• Inspect material upon delivery to the warehouse to identify any damages.
• Load and unload material to and from job sites.
• Operate manual material handling equipment such as hand jacks and wheeled carts safely.
• Lift and carry material as needed.

• Proven experience as a construction painter in commercial projects.
• In-depth knowledge of painting materials, techniques, and color matching.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within a construction team.

Knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to safety guidelines.
