Job Title: Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver

At The Contractor Consultants, we are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver to support our warehouse operations and deliver materials to job sites. This dual-role position involves organizing and maintaining the warehouse, handling inventory, and operating warehouse equipment, along with delivering goods to various locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:
    • Receiving and Storing: Receive, mark, and store materials, equipment, and supplies accurately in the warehouse.
    • Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick and pack orders for delivery or storage, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
    • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of materials.
    • Operating Equipment: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (forklift certification preferred but not required).
    • Maintaining a Clean and Safe Environment: Keep the warehouse clean and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
    • Inventory Management: Perform regular inventory checks, report discrepancies to the warehouse manager, and ensure all tools, consumables, and materials are accounted for.
    • Other Duties: Assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed to support daily operations.
  • Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
    • Delivering Items: Transport packages, goods, and materials to various jobsites and customer locations following a delivery schedule.
    • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload materials from delivery vehicles, ensuring accurate deliveries.
    • Following Schedules: Adhere to delivery schedules, routes, and time deadlines, ensuring timely and efficient service.
    • Maintaining Records: Keep accurate delivery records, complete time sheets, and provide reports on delivery activities.
    • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks, including oil, tire, and light inspections, ensuring vehicles are in proper working condition.
    • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with field personnel and customers.
    • Inventory Tracking: Pay attention to inventory while loading and unloading to ensure the correct materials are delivered.
    • Issue Reporting: Report any issues or concerns with deliveries to the warehouse manager promptly.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift.
  • Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.
  • Weekend Work with OT Potential.

  • Vestal, NY, 13850 and Surrounding Areas.
