Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL B Driver to join our team at Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for loading and unloading delivery vehicles at the distribution center and at the delivery site within a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trucks in accordance with DOT Load Securement requirements
  • Maintain daily truck inspection and daily trip reports as required by USDOT
  • Operate vehicles in compliance with all DOT and Reliable safety requirements
  • Operate forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker and other loading/stacking equipment
  • Complete and maintain daily forklift inspection reports
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and logs
  • Chock tires when loading and unloading trucks
  • Assist Will-Call customers in a courteous and helpful manner
  • Report any deficiencies in inventory, equipment, safety issues, or concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor
  • Report backorders to Customer Service Department
  • Act as backup and/or fill-in Material Handler as needed
  • Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ years of warehouse and/or delivery driving experience
