Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Imaging Specialist to enhance our imaging department. This role involves utilizing advanced magnetic resonance technology to perform diagnostic imaging procedures that are essential for patient care.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct magnetic resonance imaging procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning, and equipment selection for optimal imaging results.
  • Engage in quality assurance and control activities to maintain high standards of imaging practices.
  • Stay informed about MRI technology, software systems, and departmental protocols.
  • Administer contrast media as per radiology policies and guidelines.
  • Recognize and respond to emergency situations, providing first aid and CPR as necessary.
  • Document patient histories accurately to facilitate comprehensive care.

Qualifications:
  • Clinical experience in Diagnostic Imaging is required.
  • Completion of an accredited MRI education program is necessary.
  • ARRT certification in Radiology, Radiation Therapy, or Nuclear Medicine is mandatory.
  • ARRT certification in MRI is required.
  • Licensure from the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy is essential.
  • Ability to obtain BLS certification during employment.
