We are seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to join our team at Christian School District. As a Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive and productive learning environment, ensuring the continuity of instruction, and providing support to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain established routines and procedures of the school and classroom to ensure a smooth transition for students and staff.
- Teach lesson plans as outlined by the absent teacher, adhering to the curriculum and instructional guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as required by the building secretary, including administrative tasks and support for students and staff.
- Meet and instruct assigned classes in designated locations and times, creating a conducive learning environment.
- Take necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Assist in implementing policies and rules governing student life and conduct, developing reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure.
- Remain at school during the entire school day, unless excused by the building secretary.
- Implement all rules and regulations, maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to attendance and punctuality expectations.
- Deliver group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines, managing student behavior to provide a safe and optimal learning environment.
- Respond to emergency situations, resolving immediate safety concerns and directing to appropriate personnel for resolution.
