Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Assist the surgical team with patient preparation, positioning, and draping.
  • Maintain aseptic technique and follow proper sterilization procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with the surgical team, including the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and nurses.
  • Participate in the setup and breakdown of surgical equipment and supplies.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a technical program for operating room technicians.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (NCCT) certification.
