Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Nursing Faculty member to join our team at the University of South Dakota. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our undergraduate BSN program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach classroom and clinical instruction, including simulation, laboratory skills, and seminar
  • Oversight and evaluation of students' clinical reasoning and clinical performance
  • Assessment and evaluation of student learning
  • Development and implementation of curriculum and course materials
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing from a nationally accredited program
  • Current unencumbered license, eligible for licensure in South Dakota
  • Strong nursing background with current clinical experience in medical surgical nursing
  • Experience teaching in a baccalaureate or higher degree program preferred
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a clinical, lab, classroom, and office setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well within a team.
