The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while overseeing all unit functions. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC assesses and evaluates nursing care in line with established protocols. The CNC acts as a resource for staff and enhances the overall patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, assess, customize, and provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Assist with patient admission and discharge processes.
- Work alongside subject matter experts and leadership to foster improved outcomes and service quality.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to enhance staff performance and engagement.
- Support staff scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure. If holding a compact license, an active Florida RN license is required within 60 days of hire.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care environment is strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
Strong critical thinking, commitment to service excellence, and effective interpersonal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to comprehend written instructions and follow verbal directions. Proficiency in PC skills is also required.
