We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Firewall Engineer to join our team at RIT Solutions, Inc. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with firewalls, with a focus on Palo Alto management, configuration, rules, and policy reviews, deployment, and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and configure Palo Alto firewalls to ensure optimal security and performance.
  • Develop and implement firewall policies and rules to meet business requirements.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement network architecture.
  • Provide on-call support and respond to after-hours incidents.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer with 3+ years of firewall administration.
  • Expert knowledge of Firewall technologies, including Palo Alto Firewall Platforms.
  • Experience with load balancing technologies such as F5 LTM and Citrix NetScaler.
  • Proficiency in using In-depth protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark and Splunk.
  • Ability to analyze device and traffic logs, with extensive knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and firewall technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cisco IOS and Nexus networking technologies.
  • InfoBlox.
  • Cisco Client.
  • Current JNSIP-SEC, CCNA-SEC certification.
