Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Adecco Healthcare & Lifesciences is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join their team in San Jose, CA.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of a physician, the Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients, with a focus on geriatric care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct accurate assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
  • Prescribe and dispense medications.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the care team.
  • Check vital signs, conduct physical exams, and review patient case histories.
  • Provide continuing and comprehensive healthcare, including preventive care and behavioral health services.
  • Educate patients on disease processes, medications, prevention, and compliance.
  • Consult with and refer patients to affiliated subspecialists.
  • Work as part of an integrated care team and collaborate with behavioral health colleagues.
  • Participate in on-call after-hours rotation.
  • Document and maintain clinical records according to appropriate standards and regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and clinical quality improvement processes, including peer reviews and health outcomes reporting.
  • Provide coverage for other clinicians as needed.
  • Complete additional duties and related projects as assigned.

Pay Details:

$150,000.00 to $180,000.00 per year
