Job Description

Crystal Creamery is seeking a highly skilled Class A Driver to join our team as a Transportation Specialist. This role is responsible for delivering and unloading dairy products, including ice cream and frozen food products, to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Product: Safely operate a tractor trailer to deliver products to customers within assigned routes and time windows.
  • Unload Product: Unload products from the trailer using hand trucks, electric pallet jacks, or carts, and place them in designated customer storage areas.
  • Operate Hand-Held Unit: Generate invoices and verify delivery of items with customers, obtaining proper signatures as needed.
  • Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Responsibilities: Complete Department of Transportation (DOT) logs, company vehicle maintenance reports, and reconcile with company representatives as required.
  • Maintain Sanitary Conditions: Ensure the tractor and trailer or bobtail truck are kept in a clean and sanitary condition.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License: Possess a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
  • Medical Examiner's Certificate Card (MEC): Must possess and be able to present a valid non-expired interstate MEC.
