Construction Surveyor

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Construction Surveyor to join our team at Everus Communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a Trimble Total Robotic Station for precise surveying and construction layout tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain the Trimble Robotic Total Station for precise surveying and construction layout tasks.
Perform site surveys and set up control points to ensure accurate project execution.
Conduct topographic surveys, as-built surveys, and layout of construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to interpret plans and drawings.
Transfer data between the total station and office software for processing and reporting.
Ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly; troubleshoot any technical issues.
Maintain detailed records of survey data, field notes, and other relevant documentation.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working on-site.
Provide training and support to junior staff on the use of the Trimble Robotic Total Station.

Requirements
High school diploma/GED.
Certification in surveying or related field experience.
Minimum 2 years' experience with other Trimble products and related surveying equipment.

Preferred Skills
General knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proven experience operating a Trimble Robotic Total Station or similar equipment.
Strong knowledge of surveying principles, methods, and techniques.
Proficiency in using surveying software and data transfer tools.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and data recording.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar drafting software.
