About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide top-notch patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during surgical procedures to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized operating room, including preparation and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient care activities, as needed.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Surgical Technology or related field required; graduate of an accredited program.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist; CST certification preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
