In addition to inpatient and outpatient surgical services, the hospital embodies a legacy of compassion and care as part of one of the nation's largest healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse I plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive patient care to a designated group of individuals by employing the nursing process. This position involves coordinating services provided by various healthcare professionals while adhering to hospital policies and procedures. The Clinical Nurse I may also assume charge nurse responsibilities, overseeing and guiding nursing care within a specific unit in collaboration with the Nurse Manager. Identifying and resolving nursing service challenges, the Clinical Nurse I ensures patient care aligns with hospital standards and regulatory requirements while effectively utilizing the established chain of command. Active participation in fulfilling the mission of Community Hospital of San Bernardino is expected, alongside demonstrating behaviors that reflect the organization's core values. The employee is also expected to support the strategic objectives and quality improvement initiatives of the hospital.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of one and a half years of experience in acute care nursing is preferred.
- Possession of a valid California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification is mandatory.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $65.86 per hour.
