The Desert Research Institute (DRI) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in Atmospheric Science, Hydrologic Science, or Earth and Ecosystem Science. As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects, collaborate with renowned scientists, and develop your skills in research design, data analysis, and scientific communication.

• Conduct research in Atmospheric Science, Hydrologic Science, or Earth and Ecosystem Science, with a focus on developing new research programs that intersect and complement existing expertise at DRI.
• Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and students to advance scientific knowledge and develop innovative solutions to complex environmental problems.
• Design and implement research studies, collect and analyze data, and develop and disseminate research findings through publications and presentations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community groups.

• Ph.D. in a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals and presenting research at conferences.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with faculty, researchers, and students beyond your advisor's research group.
• Potential to secure external research funding and develop a research program.

• Experience communicating research results to stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community groups.
• Interest in developing a research program and securing external research funding.
• Demonstrated ability to develop oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write peer-reviewed papers and present research at conferences.
• Experience participating in the development of research proposals and securing external research funding.
