Asbestos Inspector Specialist

Responsibilities:- Conduct site-specific risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement EH&S training programs, focusing on Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tagout, Bloodborne Pathogens, Biosafety, Fall Protection, Ladder Safety, Hazardous Waste Management, Respiratory Protection, RCRA, DOT, IMDG, IATA, SPCC, and HAZWOPER.
- Provide guidance on the management of hazardous waste, including characterization, satellite area inspections, training, and correspondence with government agencies.
Requirements:
- Minimum Associate's Degree in Science or Engineering-related field.
- 0-5 years of experience in environmental consulting, particularly in hazardous building materials, indoor air quality, and industrial hygiene.
- Report and specification writing, building inspections for hazardous materials, and project monitoring of asbestos and lead abatement projects are advantageous.
