Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Radar Signal Processing Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional product and research teams to develop and deploy edge software and cloud services for real-time customer-facing products and internal big data tools.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize signal processing algorithms for FMCW Radar data, including detection, estimation, prediction, and tracking.
  • Prototype, benchmark, and test new radar signal processing algorithms to ensure high performance and accuracy.
  • Identify and plan data captures for evaluation datasets, and develop simulation models for interpreting experimental Radar data.
  • Maintain and improve Radar signal processing algorithms and models, including continuous evaluation, gap analysis, re-training, and fine-tuning.
  • Own the tuning of algorithms to meet performance requirements, including recall and precision.
Requirements
  • A graduate degree in engineering (MSc or PhD) in fields related to signal processing, radar systems, or a related field.
  • Strong background in waveform design, signal detection, estimation, and algorithm development for sensing and perception.
  • Experience with fixed-point arithmetic, numerical methods, and programming languages such as MATLAB and Python.
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and technical communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience developing sensor fusion algorithms using data from different sensing modalities.
  • 3-5 years of experience with product-level development and support.
