Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Patient Service Center. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring positive patient therapeutic outcomes by assessing therapy appropriateness and providing clinical and distributive pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify prescription drug orders for completeness and clinical appropriateness
  • Communicate with medical providers' offices for order clarification and coordination of care
  • Communicate with patients regarding prescribed therapies to promote patient outcomes
  • Participate in after-hours and on-call emergency prescription order fulfillment
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians during daily activities
  • Monitor designated inventories and supplies according to established policies and procedures
  • Identify and implement quality improvement opportunities to improve operational and clinical initiatives
  • Facilitate cold chain workflows in accordance with established policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy or Registered Pharmacist degree from an ACPE accredited institution
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacist licensure for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • 1 year of non-commercial pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, or retail pharmacy experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ year as a practicing, licensed pharmacist in a non-commercial pharmacy or specialty pharmacy
  • Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP) certification
  • REMS product experience
  • Experience with verifying and dispensing cold chain products
  • Pharmacist licensure in multiple states

This is a full-time position that operates in a professional office environment and may require teleworking from the employee's home address. The employee is responsible for setting up their home office environment, including reliable internet access, to access required systems and software associated with the position's responsibilities.
