- Develop and implement case strategies based on thorough analysis and interpretation of laws, regulations, and court rulings.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in the most favorable terms possible.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts.
- Collaborate with legal team members and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in insurance defense law and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on potential liability and risk management issues.
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as an Insurance Defense Attorney or a similar role.
- Proven experience in litigation, liability, and injury.
- Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
