Job Title: Building Aide

CCRES, Educational & Behavioral Health Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Aide to join our team. As a Building Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our schools.

Job Summary:

The Building Aide will assist the building principal and teachers with non-instructional tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient school environment. This includes tasks such as filing, duplicating, and student supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform various tasks such as copying, laminating, and collating documents
  • File and maintain records in a five-drawer file cabinet
  • Transport and handle materials, including reams of paper and printed materials
  • Prepare instructional-related materials for teachers
  • Monitor the cafeteria and ensure a pleasant and orderly atmosphere
  • Assist in the health room in the absence of the nurse
  • Compile and distribute supplies for the office and teachers
  • Assume the duties of the secretary as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting - preferred
Clearances:
  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN
  • TB Screening - current within 3 months
  • Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
