About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced and compassionate RN with a strong background in psychiatric nursing. You'll work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess patients' mental health needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide ongoing support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' mental health needs through comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' complex needs, working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate patient care across multiple settings, ensuring seamless transitions and minimizing gaps in service.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to enhance mental health outcomes.
  • Utilize crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate high-risk situations, prioritizing patient and staff safety.
  • Document patients' progress and share findings with the healthcare team to inform care decisions.
  • Engage in targeted psychoeducation and family therapy to foster understanding and support for patients' mental health.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Current Washington State RN License
  • AHA BLS/Behavioral Health experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • BLS Certification
  • Covid-19 vaccination and booster
  • Flu Vaccination
