About the Role

Stability Direct is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in an inpatient setting. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Respiratory Care: Administer all forms of respiratory care and treatment to patients, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications.
  • Monitor Patient Progress: Continuously monitor patients' oxygen saturation, end tidal CO2, and blood gas analysis to ensure effective treatment.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate Effectively: Provide clear and concise communication to patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient care and treatment.
  • Maintain Equipment and Supplies: Ensure proper use and functioning of respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen tanks, and aerosol therapy devices.
  • Participate in Departmental Functions: Assist with departmental education, orientation of new staff members, and participate in patient care rounds.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licenses and Certifications: RCP, RRT, BCLS, and ACLS certifications.
  • Experience: Hospital experience in respiratory care, preferably in an inpatient setting.
