Tool Setter

We are seeking an experienced Tool Setter to join our team at LeachGarner, Inc. in Attleboro. As a Tool Setter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring machines function properly and produce consistent quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Install and set up tooling systems, including pins, guides, and other components
- Fine-tune and adjust tooling settings to ensure precise operation and dimensional accuracy
- Perform calibration procedures using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on tooling systems
- Replace worn or damaged components as needed
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with tooling systems during production and take prompt corrective actions
- Monitor production output and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Adjust tooling as necessary to achieve desired quality levels
- Maintain accurate records of tooling setups, adjustments, and maintenance activities
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
- Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures when performing maintenance on machinery
- Wear proper PPE at all times
- 2+ years experience as a tool setter in a manufacturing environment
- Good math skills
- Experience using micrometers, calipers and related hand tools
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of machine operation and maintenance principles
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
- Excellent attendance
