**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Field Service Technician to join our team at Terex Corporation. As a Mobile Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and repair services to our customers in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures
  • Follow and promote The Terex Way Values
  • Work on a wide array of equipment including: truck mounted aerial platforms, digger derricks and cranes
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems
  • Manage own schedule and support customers with repairs
  • Utilize current technology to support everyday work functions

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic set of mechanical tools (sockets, wrenches, and battery-operated impact gun)
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with heavy machinery and/or utility equipment
  • Able to pass MVR
  • 2+ years of Field Service experience
  • Must be located within 60 miles of Phoenix, AZ

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a similar field
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Background in customer service
  • Experience with utility-type equipment
  • Fluid Power Society certification
  • Extensive knowledge of Terex Products: e.g Hi-Ranger, Telelect
  • JLG or Genie experience
  • Basic computer skills

Work Environment Considerations:

  • Must be willing to work varied hours, including evenings as necessary and be on the road three to four nights per week.
  • Able to climb ladders and over and under vehicles.
  • Willing to work in different weather conditions
  • Tolerable to heights
  • Able to lift, push, pull up to 40 lbs

Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is $37-48 hourly. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
