Job Title: Kinship Care Assessor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kinship Care Assessor to join our team at Professional Services Group. As a key member of our Milwaukee Kinship Care program, you will play a vital role in determining eligibility for kinship care and monitoring client compliance with eligibility requirements.

As a Kinship Care Assessor, you will be responsible for:

  • Determining eligibility for Voluntary Kinship Care applications in accordance with DCF regulation codes.
  • Maintaining a caseload of clients.
  • Assisting with on-going program planning development.
  • Conducting reviews to determine continuation of kinship care payments.
  • Accurately entering information into the state's eWiSACWIS system and Professional Services Group's databases.
  • Attending Fair Hearings as requested.
  • Investigating and taking appropriate action on client complaints.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related field.

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) language skills a plus.
