About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our Orthopedic team at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms for surgical patients, review preference cards to determine surgeon needs, obtain necessary supplies and equipment, and ensure cleanliness of the room.
  • Perform surgical scrub duties and assist with the collection, identification, and disposition of cultures and specimens.
  • Assist in turning over of rooms and ensure supplies, instruments, and equipment are returned to their proper location.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Less than 2 years of experience or military equivalent required.
  • No supervisor experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Accredited Surgical Program.
  • Surgical Technician certification.
