Wireless Network Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Engineer to provide high-level design, trouble shooting and management functions for the University wireless network. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing problem resolution for applications which run over the wireless University network, as well as the Internet.
Key Responsibilities:- Configure, troubleshoot and maintain the UVM wireless network
- Provide problem resolution for applications which run over the wireless University network, as well as the Internet
- Design and implement network infrastructure to support wireless network services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations
- Develop and implement network security policies and procedures
- Monitor and analyze network performance to identify areas for improvement
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience
- 4 years of experience in an enterprise wireless network
- Strong knowledge of wireless network protocols and technologies
- Experience with network performance monitoring and debugging tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Experience with design and troubleshooting tools such as Ekahau
- Knowledge of IPv6 and network virtualization
- Experience with network security and firewalls
A competitive salary range of $95,000 to $120,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
